Psalm 51:6-8 Ask Him and He will come renew you!

Imagine how you feel after a hard day's work outside in the cold, damp and very windy Northeast England weather or out in a village in the hot Ghanaian sun. Or maybe you are in the engine room on Deck 1 of the Africa Mercy preparing the vessel for yet another test! As crew of Mercy Ships, we're doing the Lord's work and in the midst of His will in our lives, but still we can get an attitude of grumpiness or shortness with our fellow labourers in Christ or doubt or fear or.......(you fill in the blank)!

Our Lord is good and He desires for us to come to Him in our filthyness and seek His wisdom just as we are in our situation. When we ask Him, He will take us and bathe us, clean....squeaky clean in His truth! How good it feels to be washed and soaked in His truth. Warmed by His love and our attitudes totally turned back over to Him! Refreshing and renewing! We are again able to hear and experience joy; to show gladness and His love to others and be in tune with His Spirit! Singing and dancing in praise to Him!

Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness to me and for Your abundant love and care!
